Now the moon was risen and quiet in the sky, even though the window next to his perch had been showing the sun setting earlier--which confused him, because shouldn't it have been across from the moon, not next to it

[And very quietly coming along side is Allen, a bit groggy having just woken up. He glances at Kanda when he hears the unfamiliar voice, his own voice is somewhat soft and sleep-ridden.]

This place does very odd things to time, I've found.
