[Hear that? It's definitely a piano, tinkering out a low melody. The tune is rather sad; soft and even, for the most part, at least until the player's fingers fumble and repeat the chords over again

Everyone says that. I don't think they know I'm older than most of the Allens here.

/scurries off to bed

Woah. Still a bit short for a 22 year old, yeah? [don't mind him if he sits down on the bench next to Allen]

[Stiffening a little at the new company, but he's not saying no.]

I'm still taller than most of them.

But still kinda short compared to some people, yeah? [looks at him curiously.]

[Preoccupying himself by picking up the whiskey bottle and taking a nice gulp.]

Perhaps you're too tall.

[laughs lightly]

I hope not! [grins and presses a few keys on the piano]

So, what's your world like?

[His eyes linger on the keys that had been pushed before answering.]

Difficult. Yours?

Same. [removing his hands away from the keys now]

There are a lot of us here who came from difficult worlds.

[Slowly allowing himself to continue to play.]

From what I hear, most of their worlds involves somethin' called Innocence.
