[Hear that? It's definitely a piano, tinkering out a low melody. The tune is rather sad; soft and even, for the most part, at least until the player's fingers fumble and repeat the chords over again

[His shoulder twitches at touch, and he slides a little down the piano bench. Normally, he'd be much more graceful at hiding his discomfort. Seeing as he's had a bit of whiskey in him, it's more obvious than he'd like it to be.]
I'm just playing as I go along.... can you not do that?
[Blinking blearily and slowly heading into another tune. Don't mind the suspicious glances out of the corner of his eye, or that he's still slightly shrinking away. Or that he's starting to fumble over several chords. Whiskey makes playing difficult.]
[Will use trial and error to find that magical spot where he is still sitting next to Allen, and Allen isn't shrinking away from him. Hopefully, he doesn't end up on the floor.]
I didn't drink it before... [Cracks his neck as he fumbles over a couple of keys.] ... I opened the bottle while I was playing.
[A couple of more fumbles, and he's just staring at the keys now, not looking up as he reaches up to slide the bottle closer to Lavi. You can have some if you want :)] It's a good mental break.
Well, since it's here and all. [Takes the bottle and raises it in the air] I propose a toast!
That this mental break heals what ails the both of us, and that your next concert consist of something more upbeat. I recommend "Flight of the Bumblebee." [Tips the bottle back and chugs a couple of swallows before holding the bottle out to Allen in a gesture to do the same]
[Sly smile] What do you think my story is? I find it's more interesting to have people take a guess first. Most of the time, the guesses are much more entertaining than real life.
[That kind of question-dodging makes him feel uneasy. Have a very prying, sideways sort of glance. Ignore the blood-red wings slowly unfolding from his shoulders.]
