Y-you didn't seem up to it. [She sounds mirthful enough, but there's just a bit of worry there too.]

Well now, I'll never argue to being rescued by a fair lady. [He stands, not too unsteadily, and he looks... Good. Happy, content, in a good mood despite the ducks. Pleased.]

[She blushes and laughs, pulling her sweatshirt back on. Seeing him happy like that is enough to alleviate whatever worry she had for now.] I-I do my best.

[He takes a minute to lean against the tree. He has no idea the necromancer burned his body, but since the only time he died before his body ended up ashes as well, he's figuring this is just how you feel after you revive--a little weak.]

[But he has Joyd, so it doesn't bother him. He feels whole.] And what do I owe my fair rescuer?

Ah? [Thinking, thinking, you're distracting her with worry again, thinking....]

Alright. [He pushes away from the tree, smiling still. It feels--amazingly good to be whole.]
