[ in the Summer Courtyard, Tyki is sitting on her knees on a picnic blanket. She has an infant laid out on a baby blanket in front of her, his little hands between her fingers as she sings a popular French-Canadian nursery song, guiding the child's hands to each mentioned body part. ]

[ Well, it looks like for the moment he's too busy to bug her. Three babies'll do that to a person, yes. Three. Though with all the baby slings he's wearing it's a wonder his circulation isn't somehow cut off, that or the weight hasn't gotten to him. Still, he seems to be enjoying himself.]

[ quite alright, she's busy playing with John anyway. She's rather enthralled. ]

[For the most part he seems to be too, laughing softly when the dark-haired baby of the bunch seems to cause a fuss. Cooing softly.]

Now, now. Don't you cry, it's too nice out here to be fussy.

[ glancing over--

--what the heck? She just stares for a moment. ]

...just had to show me up, huh?

[Stares back, raising a brow.]

Excuse me?

[ shakes her head ] Never mind.

[ then turns back to John, as if confiding in someone who might actually understand. ] Show off.

[Now that gets him walking over.]

So having triplets is being a show off?

Yep. Then again, I don't envy any woman that has to deal with three spawn at once.

Well, having a very patient husband to help out makes things easier.

[Briefly glances down at John]

That one yours?

Not this one, nope. I'll admit though, he's handsome like his Aunt Bird, isn't he~? [ pinches his cheeks lightly ]

He'll break some hearts some day, I'll give him that. [And maybe it says something of him that he actually cracks a slight smile, rather than get into a comment about how his babies are cuter.]

He'll be fighting the girls off with a stick. [ oh no way, John is way cuter. ]

Definitely. [Pshhh. Parental bias and hippie-names aside, the Wolflings are just as cute, and there's three of them. Beat that John.]

Well? You going to get comfortable and stay a while? [ John has an Aunt Bird. Insta-win. ]

The more the merrier. [ she even pulls out some teething toys from the baby bag she has off to one side, giving a brightly-colored plastic ring to John, who seems mighty entertained. ]

...I can't imagine three at once. This little guy's a handful as it is, and he doesn't even belong to me.
