*Komui wakes up, stretching his arms out in front of him. He glances at the clock. It's 1 PM. Looking around, he decides he feels well enough to actually get dressed today. He's missed the normal rhythm of things in the days he's been out of it. His stomach growls, and he's actually genuinely hungry for once. Extremely hungry. He swings his legs

[The door to his room is open. He's curled on his bed, grabbing a cat-nap (pun fully intended~) his own little ears and tail twitching with every breath he takes]

*Practically runs into the room, ignoring how cute Bak looks all curled up on the... oh, no. It's not enough to imagine them on himself, his mind has to put adorable, silky, cream-colored cat ears and a tail on his best friend, too? He shakes the sleeping form by the shoulder, almost hating to wake him after all he's done taking care of Komui.*

Bak! Wake up! Bak? ...I'm hallucinating again.

[kardial]

[Congrats, have a half-awake grumbly Bak-chan]

What?

[curiousmalady]

Nothing, it's just...*he really doesn't want to worry Bak like this, but remembering what happened a few days ago...*

...I'm hallucinating again.

[kardial]

[He blinks, just staring at those ears, not noticing his own]

I- I think I am too...

[curiousmalady]

Wh-what?

[kardial]

Y- you have ears, cat ears...

[curiousmalady]

You mean you can see them? *He backs away, unsure. Is Bak himself a hallucination? He definitely seems real.*

[kardial]

I- I can...

[curiousmalady]

Wh-What? Then... what are we going to do?!

[kardial]

I- I don't know. [His ears twitch, and now he notices... Feeling them with a scream]

[curiousmalady]

*And oddly, Bak's panicking makes Komui able to force calmness and take control of the situation, at least a little bit. He paces, considering.*

Well, if you can see them, I must not be hallucinating, unless... unless I'm hallucinating you.

*He looks at the alarmed Bak and goes over to him, sitting on the bed and pulling him into an embrace, hoping his friend is real. Either way, those cat ears make him all the more adorable.*

[He lets himself collapse into the embrace, nearly whimpering. This is just too weird. Does this place love picking on them or something?]

[curiousmalady]

*Holds onto him, rubbing his shoulder and giving him a kiss on the forehead.*

Bak-chan, it's just kitty ears. We're not going to die.

Besides, I think they make you look cute.

[kardial]

[And slowly he calms down]

...You don't know that! [Maybe not...]

[And that, good sir. Is a blush]

[curiousmalady]

We'll be fine.

*Snuggles up against Bak. If the cat ears made him cute, the blush made him even cuter. He feels something close to normal for the first time in a while, and it makes him appreciate life.

And holding Bak right now... it feels wonderful too. And he leans in to kiss him again, this time on the lips, not pulling away as quickly as he expected to...*
