[Hmm, is that a little tease fluttering around looking for a little lost Lavi? Cause it might be, considering how it stops for a little bit before moving on, staying out in the open so he could be seen, if not flagged down and be brought back to Tyki]

[ well at least there's a good sign. Lavi pokes the little tease. ]

[squeaks when it's poked, fluttering high to keep from being poked again before it starts to lead the way to Tyki...]

[...Who, right now, is chilling and playing with a few cards as he waits for the Bookman to show up again. It was strange to have someone that wasn't a Noah as close as the rest of the family, but he had come to love Lavi like any one of his brothers or sisters, and he wasn't going to let these exorcist bastards hurt him.]

[ well he follows the little tease, then does a bit of lavi magic and suddenly appears behind tyki. no one really knows how he does it. it just happens. ]

[laughs a bit when he appears behind him, putting his cards away as he turns to look at him] Good to see you're still in one piece. Don't worry me like that again. [reaches out and messes his hair]

I dunno how I lost track'a ya. It's like ya just suddenly disappeared.

Yanno, I don't think this is the place the Earl sent us. Sure doesn't fit the description, yeah.

Sorry about that. I didn't mean to but, well, I don't really get a choice if my Tease find a good target.

[lights up a cigarette, shaking his head] Unfortunately, we've ended up elsewhere. No difference though, Lavi. Exorcists are exorcists, no matter where we go.

It doesn't seem t' matter where we are. They see us 'n immediately try t' kill us. Man, what a pesky bunch.

They don't even bother learning the truth. [sighs] It's alright either way. Family is a lot stronger than random people stuck together.

They just seem t' assume they're right.

[bnwgambler]

Because in their minds, they are. [takes another drag of his cigarette, blowing it into the wind] But we know better, right? [smile smile]

They just don't know the truth, yeah. [ he knits his fingers behind his head ] A world without wars. I can't wait t' see it.

I know you can't. Considering you've been through countless of them, it must be comforting to know there's going to be an end to it all soon. [even if it was the end to most things anyways, no big deal, right?]

You have no idea. [ yeah, no biggie ] I'd rather it sooner than later.

But we won't dwell on that now, will we? The Earl gave us a mission. And we have to get you something else to defend yourself. Don't want another incident with all these exorcists around. [glances to Lavi's shoulder]

Oh man, are there really that many? Well give me any kind'a weapon 'n I'll find a way t' use it. [ he rubs his shoulder. ]

Even after a year, it still hurts sometimes. I don't wanna go through that again.
