[Flails and pulls it off, wading it into his lap. Blinks up at Lavi]

[Gives him a funny look and turns down to the blanket. After a moment he'll wrap it around himself]

[Sits down next to him] Penny fer yer thoughts?

[Looks away back at the pond] Just... thinking.

[Smiles and starts skipping stones across the water. Hands one to Yuu]

[Takes it and tries to make it skip, but it only sinks]

[Puts another stone in his hand] Ya need t'throw it more like this, yeah. A bit more sideways.

[Nods and tries again. It'll skip once before sinking]

Gettin' better, yeah. [Resting his head on his knees]

[Does the same, drifting back to his rather depressing thoughts]

Yuu-chan. I think I've been underestimatin' Yuu, 'cuz yer a kid. Or maybe I just wanted t'protect Yuu from everythin'. Either way, it was wrong o' me. And I'm sorry.
