HOW IT WORKS
1 - Go to the RNG and roll for both your cause of death and time left, then start a thread with it! Alternatively, skip the RNG and make up your own death.

2 - Reply to other people's comment. Either roll the RNG for a relationship type with them, or go with your own CR. You can also be dying along beside them, or a ( Read more... )

[There had been relatively few times in her extremely long life when she'd thought seriously about her death. Perhaps she would fail in battle against the Heart's user again, and it would be her final curtain fall, never to rise again. Perhaps the 14th would get the victory she so wanted so badly, stabbing her in the back and smiling down at her eerily until the life bled out of her.

What she did not expect was this.

Who had left a toy car at the top of the tallest staircase in the Dressing Room? At a place where one really would not wish to have one's foot unexpectedly sweep out from under them?

It would be funny, really, if she weren't dying from it. Maybe, after all this time, the play had turned out to be a farce.]

... I am so sorry for this. accedoletum June 4 2011, 02:46:11 UTC
[Still fairly new to this place, he felt like he had to explore the area more to get a feel for it. And while he was expecting to run into the family some point during his "adventure", he didn't expect to run into The Earl. Who fell down the stairs and was now... Dying?

He wasn't sure whether or not he should have approached her. After much debating, he ended up walking toward her anyway.]

That was quite the fall, brother. [No he doesn't know that you're a female yet. Sorry Countess!]

No need to be sorry! countess_hearts June 4 2011, 11:45:56 UTC
[That added insult to fatal injury, it really did. Mistaken for a man...

She suppresses a groan, and moves to try to sit up. But, it's just no good, as her strength is failing and her current form is inconveniently round.]

Sister. ♥ It was indeed. Were you watching, Fourteenth? Perhaps you set this trap and lay in wait. ♥

[Although the Fourteenth must have gone down in the world, to be leaving a toy car as his weapon of choice, so she rather hopes not. It would be such an embarrassment.]

[Sister? Wait-- This must have been the Countess that Wisely had mentioned before -- GRK. He was right, they all look the same!]

Hardly, Sister. This idea was far too creative.

[Really? A Toy Car? Who in the world would use a toy to kill The Countess? ... Although it was working. Much to the 14th's surprise. He couldn't help but feel a tad bit sorry for her. This death was just... too laughable.]

Would you like some help up? [Not going to mention her round form. Nope. He doesn't want to die before The Countess dies.]

If you would be so kind. ♥

[...It's not as if the 14th is the last person she would ever want to see. She gives what would usually be an eerie little chuckle, although it turns out rather wheezy.]

I suppose you are pleased by this situation. This is your goal...regardless of how it has come about. ♥

[He extends his hand out to her, if not a bit hesitant. Enemy or not, they were still family in a way.]

... Hm. [Pleased? Maybe.] Perhaps. But it's much less pleasing when your death wasn't by my hand.

[They were once very dear family, as far as she's concerned. That's what makes being on different sides so painful. She holds out her hand to take his, and pull herself into a sitting position. It's only slightly more comfortable, but better to die with a little more ease. Still, her expression darkens at what he says.]

...Oho. You would have preferred it to be more personal and less...absurd? Or...you would prefer to have the satisfaction of killing your enemy? How things have changed from the way they used to be. ♥

[The feeling is mutual, Countess. Even if he won't admit it to himself, nor her. But he can at least be with her in her final moments. So what could it hurt to sit next to her.]

I did not take you to be the kind of person who'd die from a toy car. [But all jokes aside.] In all due honesty, I would have preferred it to be personal, Sister. Your life was mine to take. No one else.

[Despite herself, she's quite pleased by that response. Although the fact he wanted to kill her is never going to be a cheerful one.]

And yet you have been thwarted, and so never will. Perhaps it would have been better, if it had been you. I may have taken yours...however, you left me with no alternative. ♥

How unfortunate that my plans were cut short due to a child's toy. [He chuckles. He finds it ironic that a toy that was meant for someone's happiness led to someone's death.] If I had known that was the key to your death, I would have used it before I had my son.

[At the second bit...] I am surprised that you're not planning on taking my life before your demise.

[He's one of the rare Neah's that isn't. Well. Dead.]

...What point would there be in that? ♥ Our quarrel is because of your unfortunate intention to betray the family and kill me. There is...no need to kill you now.

[She turns her head to look at him, suddenly. The situation described doesn't map out to the timeline of events in her head; maybe things are different in that world.] But you have a son, 14th? ♥

I was seeing if you wanted to go for a second brawl, Sister.

[Said with a smile, and a fairly jokingly tone.] I do. Allen Walker.

[Is this the part where he starts running away from her? He'd feel bad to just leave her around while she died...]

Allen Waaalllker. Him. Of course. ♥ [Her tone gets rather creepy for a moment, full of energy despite the bad state she's in, but it doesn't look as if the 14th needs to start running. At least not yet.]

In my world, Elaine Walker is the adopted child of your sister Mana. And yet you say that Allen Walker is your child? ♥

[A certain alarm goes off in his head at the tone of her voice. Although, he figures that it's not enough to make him leave.]

That is correct. He's my biological child. [Pause. ... Right, genderswaps.] None the less, my brother did take care of him while I was away.

You must have been a happy family. Parent, child, and uncle. ♥ [Whereas what she got was her former favourite betraying her, and all but Road out of her Noahs killed. Bitter, her? But at least she has built up her family again, with the newest generation.]

How do you feel about having an Exorcist for a child, dearie? If he does, indeed, possess some of the hated Innocence in your world too. I cannot imagine a truce. ♥

... I suppose. [He's being a bit wary now, yes.]

I am fine with whatever he chooses, Sister. If that is the path he wants to take, then so be it. [Leaving out that minor detail that he's going to slaughter the family to keep Allen safe. Ah... Hah? :D]
