She is very bothered by it, actually. Her immortality and her hobo-esque lifestyle are both things that she never wanted, even though she's grown accustomed to them, not to mention Lenalee wanted to live and die with her friends, not outlive them. It's given her a sense of guilt, in a way, along the lines of 'why am I still here? I don't want to be here without them, but maybe it serves me right because of what I did.' It doesn't help that she watched her friends leave, either on their own volition or by her own hands. It was and is heartbreaking for her! So while seeing her friends here is a huge relief and a wonderful thing, Lenalee's still bothered by all these thoughts and feelings, even though she tries not to show it. The same can be somewhat said for the Noah - in one way, it's very troubling that they're not gone anymore, but in another, it brings back a reminder to how life was. In that way it's troubling, but relieving. Did that answer your question? I'm rusty at my essaying.

How is it like in Lavi's head, with Apprentice in there and all?

Very much so. I was just wondering if she had become numbed to that kind of loss since it happened to her so often.

It's kind of a madhouse. And a bad kind of madhouse. I like to imagine it as a room with a window that you can only see through from one side. Most of the time, Lavi is in the room doing whatever it is Lavi does, and the Apprentice is on the outside watching. On rare occasions, they'll speak to each other though it doesn't usually go over well. And on even rarer occasions, the Apprentice will toss Lavi out of the room so he can steer for a while.

For the moment, they've developed a kind of unspoken truce where Lavi has control most of the time, and the Apprentice researches on how to get them home. Though it's doubtful that truce can last for very long.

I guess one good thing is that Lavi knows that mentally he's a mess. And admitting a problem is the first step to getting better... right? 8|a

OH I see now. No, she is not numbed to it. If anything, she's more vulnerable to it. Kind of like one of those buttons you don't push.

Yep. Now there are only eleven steps to go~

Hmm...how do Apprentice and Lavi banter/bicker most of the time?
