o1. The shoulder injury he received near the beginning of the year was much more crippling than he ever thought it would be. He physically can't lift his arm past a certain point, and using his other arm to lift it - or having anyone else lift it - is extremely painful. This has made playing his violin... really difficult, since it was the most mobile arm in his playing. He can't play for more than maybe ten minutes before it gets to him.
o2. Despite not playing, he's been composing more music than ever, to the point where it would probably be worrying to anyone that realized it - but since he never really composes anything with people around, it's likely no one really has realized it.
o3. 2 Has mostly been his 14th at work. There's so much going on in Allen's head at the moment that filling it up with music is the only thing Neah can think to do to keep him stable as of late. (Contrary to popular belief, Neah doesn't want his host going insane.)
o4. Following 3, because of that instability and how much has been going on lately, Allen

He's come close to it at least once or twice in his own world. He doesn't have the typical Allen appetite, and it was pretty normal for him to get by eating whatever he could afford, so going a day or two without eating wasn't entirely uncommon. But when he was really young and didn't know how to take care of himself quite as well, he came pretty damn close to it a few times. Feeling yourself literally wasting away is terrifying.

HE WOULD COMPOSE EVERYTHING FOR BB. So many lullabies. Those are his favorite to write. Most of the stuff he'd compose would just be random things he'd hum and have written down and never... really do much else with akgjhda since it's hard to play violin and look after a wee thing at the same time.
