Any suggestions as to what I can do before we're married?

Guidelines:

*Not too expensive---- no $$$
*I have the right to turn it down for my own reasons...

WOW. It just erased my entire message. Man, it was long too. Out of curiosity I clicked the picture link thinking I could change my picture to go with this message (which I've never done before), and it erased everything.

Well, It was probably too boring anyways.
Basically, I said to take time for yourself. Take a day, take a few hours. And continue to do that forever. It may sound like simple, common sense, or it may sound even selfish, but its so important, and I didn't realize it for a year and a half after we got married.
With such an unpredictable schedule, I got so obsessed with seeing Dan, friends, and family as much as I can, that I never took time for myself.
Now, maybe once week or every other week, I take a few hours to myself and go for a walk, out to take pictures of the beautiful weather, out into nature with a good book and some music, workout, window shopping, driving, or whatever. And I always manage to find time that doesn't take away from the people I love.

So get away for a while, don't think about the wedding, or the plans, or the people in it, or Matt, or anything else, and do something you enjoy doing best for yourself.

One more thing was don't feel guilty if you suddenly go into anti-social mode and enjoy your first few months together alone. We sort of shut out the rest of the world (not completely, but to an extent) and enjoyed time together, finally having had time to spend together NOT planning a wedding. At first I felt bad and apologized to people that we really just wanted to be alone, but then others told me they went through the same thing too. I think its a coping technique for the massive "wedding postpartum" that will definitely set it. (and it will)

I wish I had some crazy fun ideas. If we lived closer I'm sure we'd find a way to have a good time ;)
Just relax, and I'll be thinking about you!!
