Aside from the fact that this next week is going to go straight to hell, I'm doing surprisingly good at the moment. I think I owe much of this to the fact that this weekend has gone better than I had expected it to...
Also, I would like it noted that I am updating here of my own volition...just in case you were wondering.
I believe I may skip class tomorrow morning for the first time in over a year. Unfortunately, I'm going to skip it so that I can go to the library and find an article to write a paper for so that I don't have to do it later in the week or on the weekend when I'm working. Besides, I'm completely sick of my professor telling me the same thing every class period, especially since the stuff she's teaching is stuff that everyone in the class has known for years...
My classes actually seem to be quite a bit easier this semester than they were last... Hopefully I'm right in this and not just tricking myself into thinking I'm good.
Now, on to the weekend...
Friday night I went with Christine and Tracy to see "The Forgotten". Not good... If I had payed money to see that movie, I'd have been pissed... Afterwards, hung out a bit and then went to visit Sarah at her work. Sat around and watched Keji be crazy for the majority of the time, and also ate roughly one million oreo cookies...
Saturday started off to be a day like any other, though that night I did finally manage to go sledding for the first time since I've been here. Not sledding like normal people do, mind you...that's far too easy. People who are awesome do it by digging out their own path down the hill with plastic tubs and cardboard boxes. In one of the funniest thing I've ever seen, I pushed the plastic container with Christine in it into a pile of snow, causing her to fly out of the "sled" and wind up face-first in the snow. Luckily, nobody got hurt at any point in the night...Later on some other people came by with pretty weak sleds and decided to make a new path down the hill. They decided to try and get a running start and then drop down to their knees on the sled...so their knees may not be in the best of shape right now. Still, overall, a good night.
Today was pretty much a day of catching up due to my neglecting of my work for the rest of the weekend. Thus, I spent much of the day preparing for my anatomy exam on Tuesday so that I could devote mroe time this week to my Thursday quiz and my paper. Speaking of my paper, it had recently come to my attention that I loathe Charles Darwin. That is all I have to say about that.
Maybe there will be more to write about later, but for now, my bed beckons, so I must be leaving. I hope everyone's week goes well, and feel free to leave lots of messages for me to read during my work breaks this week.
