Teenings
Over the past few days since I update I've been going around my neighbourhood slowly but surely and doing teenings. I say slowly, but everyone was pretty fast until...Rhapsody. I don't know why she always takes me so long. I think she might have Peter Pan syndrome and just doesn't want to grow up. Because it took me bascially 3 play sessions to do her party. The reasons for that are very complicated and involve real life so I won't bore you with that here. But I have finally teened the elder bunch of my first circle and some others besides. Once I've teened the younger set I will do a who's who post for Gen 5. This is just the shots of birthdays taking place and little chatter.
First is a young lady who technically belongs to the previous generation. Requiem grew up into the same outfit Saffron did when she teened, the yellow dress, which obviously immediately needed to be changed.
Here she is all made over. I think she's absolutely gorgeous but maybe I'm just biased that way.
Em is knowledge and thanks to my hack to have Uni careers available as LTWs she would like to grow up to be a cult leader. I cannot tell you how psyched I was when I saw that.
Turner was next and he grew up into one of the most god awful outfits I have ever seen, which I don't seem to have a photo of on hand. But I think we can agree he cleans up pretty well. Just like when he first toddlerified I cannot stop following him around with a camera.
Turner rolled Popularity which is perfect for him. His LTW is 20 best friends. He had 11 already when he teened and with a couple of well placed bust a moves and hugs that was 13 by the end of his party. I'm sure he'll be easy to make permaplat while he's still a teen.
And he's started finger gunning! He's adorable. Everytime he does that all I can think is "Here's looking at you kid."
I love him a bit more every day.
Oh yeah, and this was fun. I sent him downtown to get a cellphone and apparently he is a magnet for trouble. This is Count Ira AlmasadthatlastnameIcanneverremember and the coffee vendour's name I've totally forgotten. But I know he's Marina's Carlos. Anyway, this happened and I'm not sure what's going to come of it. (besides me downloading the no biting hack from MATY)
I mean can we only get coffee after dark now? Will a new coffee person generate? Will he fry to a crisp while tending his post?
And because apparently Saffron is psychic the second her son came home after witnessing this she rolled up the want to become a vampire.
Maybe it's that he's popularity now, maybe it's that they just have a bit of crush on him, but I've seen a sudden jump of "befriend Turner" wants in the girls' want panels. Of all ages. Which suits me just fine since the sooner he gets to those 20 best friends the better.
But Cayenne still commands most of his attention.

Next up was Gavia Tegenaria, Norris and Kess's daughter.
She grew up into this outfit so I decided she could keep it. I really like it after all.
She is a fortune sim who would like to earn 100,000 simoleons.
She was followed immediately by these two. Who are a bit of a pair. They're not technically related, Hugo, as I have mentionned before is a servo child, and Gustav is Edvard Young's son by his wife Elise (that would be the red head whose pjs are apparent)

But thanks to the magic of the Tomstone I insiminated Brandi LeTourneau at exactly the moment I heard the lullabye from Eddie and Elise and so Hugo and Gus were born simultaneously and have grown up in the same house.
So they sort of get to be unofficial twins when it comes to birthdays.
Hugo is a Finger Gunner and rolled Romance. His LTW is 20 simultaneous loves which I am VERY excited about for a variety of reasons.
And well, let's just say he's proving very good at it so far.
Gus meanwhile has rolled Pleasure with the LTW for 50 first dates so we'll be seeing the Gypsies around alot this Generation I'm sure.
She enjoys dropping off Gus's father's old girlfriends for Dates.
This however was interesting. Aimée Zaidi was dropped off for a date, and they have 2 solid bolts. I'm looking to hook up distantly related playables this generation and they are definitely distantly related enough that this is ok, so once he's done the 45 first dates he has left Aimée might be a possibility for a serious long term thing.

I let them have a full date and it went well and I've seen them gravitate towards each other with ACR when they were both non controllable at other lots.
This however cracked me up. You know how there's that pause where the Gypsy yammers to you about "this is your date" right after they've dropped and sometimes the date can wander off? Aimée wandered off and went to find Turner who was over visiting, and wolf whistled him.
Turner has not been wanting for female attention, that's all I'll say. The only thing I've done to restrict him is that with the new ACR I flagged Em as 'in the friend zone' because there were two rather large bolts there. Which were actually very tempting but they're too closely related in my opinion.
Hugo and Gus were followed by Riley and Ashton, Lark and Ashley's twins.
Riley rolled family with the LTW to reach her golden anniversary and randomized gay on ACR. I might have to give her some biological children anyway, because, while it did take quite a bit of searching to find a hair that softned her face, she does have very pretty genes, which are very much her daddy's.
(I later changed her top to the blue version of this, it's just what she grew up in)
Ashton also rolled family with the LTW to top Education. (I do roll twice for twins btw, they just seem to roll up the same aspiration alot in my game for some reason).
He's got alot more of Lark in his features than I inititally though. I think the mouth and eyes and possibly cheeks are hers, the nose is definitely Ashley though.
Both are outgoing and mean and should be alot of fun as they get older.
Lark celebrated the fact that she was now the mother of teenagers by setting the kitchen on fire for the first time ever.
Next was Orion, Orpheus's adopted son, Apollo's Grandson. Naturally he got a party, which naturally got busted up by the cops.
He grew up into a pleasure sim with the LTW to top Culinary.
Abbey, his adopted little sister grew up the very next day.
She's pretty cute in my opinion. I really like Abbey. She rolled Romance, and her LTW is to woohoo 20 different sims. Which I'm sure can be conveniently combined with Hugo's LTW to fall in love with 20 different girls.
Abbey is also very good at being a Romance sim. I won't say much else about it here, since I want to save some stuff for the update, but the girl knows how to use her ACR token.
Which finally gets us to this young lady.
Rhapsody's birthday was absolute Glorious Mayhem. I can't show you any of it here, but it was basically what you would expect when you put a bunch of newly teenified sims who are all friends with each other and have ACR tokens in a room on free will. The new ACR has autonomous first kiss and I've seen it several times over the last few days and Dee's party saw more than one flurry of first kiss hearts and 3 big red hearts (which you will notice is not an even number).
But that will all be in the update somewhere down the line (whenever that does happen). For now I'm here to show you a grown up Rhapsody.
She grew up colourful and adorable in my opinion. Though obviously she's getting made over.
Voila! I found a recolour of her hairstyle that had a red ribbon for the dark hair so I switched her to that because the brown sort of was getting lost in the dark hair in my opinion. I decided to keep her in tie-dye top and colourful printed jean bottoms, so she is actually CC free in the clothing departement, since I think all her other outfits are TSS.
Anyway, Dee is a pleasure sim, which I think suits my happy go clumsy little gal, even if she's on the serious side. Her LTW is to top gamer so I won't have to be putting her shyness to the test through an unending string of dates. I think she's adorable. I can't wait to play more of this Gen as teens. though i don't know when that will be able to happen.
And she creepy smiles of course.
And that is my teenagers of the last few days. I have others from earlier of course, Aimée, Raphus Tegenaria, Jane Austen.
Next Birthday is Cayenne, who is 2 days younger than Rhapsody and she is followed by the 'Twins' and then there's a couple of extended family members, and then Journey. And so whenever I do get there I will then have a fully teened first circle.
