Okay, sorry for my lack of intelligent words, but W-O-W! It's late and I'm exhausted but I had to say something.

I'm going to come back and re-read this tomorrow when I'm more awake.

It's fabulous, though. I loved it!

I stayed up past my bedtime and right as I was about to sign off and then I saw this so I had to stay up and read it. I can barely see and I'm probably not coherent, but yay! That was excellent! I really like the use of second person and the mentions of water (I honestly forgot I put that in the prompt).

I also like that the ending is (or I'm merely interpreting it to be) a kind of bittersweet, because it's over, and the boredom can take over again. But the last line is perfect!

I plan to reread this tomorrow night when I can actually think straight again. : )

One more thing... I also liked that the ending can be interpreted to be somewhat ambiguous, because it's not definite on whether or not he's actually caught. Two of my favorite things: ambiguous and bittersweet! Thanks for a great read!

wow... I usually don't like second person stories, but this one.. Phenomenal! I think this one gets added to memories. :)

There will be no more invasions of minds; there will be no more nonexistent kisses; and there will be no more interesting conversations with a man you only know in your head.

Amazing. Simply amazing. I have no words.
