ericahpfa drew "Aftermath" for inovertime

Title: Aftermath
Rating: PG
Artist's Notes: I fail. The white ribbon/bandage was a complete add-on, although I think if we can pretend it is Narcissa's than perhaps it works. I am so sorry.

I don't think you failed! The drawing is amazing!!! I love how Ginny is there for Draco, and the fact that they're wearing the same kind of robes lets me think they were fighting on the same side. I guess he lost more than her, but she's still there for him. The pencil just gives everything a darker, sadder look. God! It's so good. You should be proud!

I had missed her one addition that was asked for, and to be so simple as a ribbon! *facepalm*

I like it otherwise, though! And thank you for the comment.

Let's say you just got into the drawing too much. And at the end it really worked. If you haven't said anything, no one would've known.

I agree-- it's lovely and dark. Very emotional and indicative of loss without resorting to a standing-in-the-cemetary-over-the-graves-of-the-fallen picture.

Thank you very much, I thought that Lucius' walking stick was enough as well. Simplicity is key!

And thanks again.

This didn't fail at all. It certainly is dramatic and dark, and the scene shows you exactly how hurt Draco is and that Ginny's there for him.

*memories* I suddenly feel the need to write fic for this.
