Oh, that is perfect, how he reacts to Hermione's line! Up until then, it's hard to tell how he feels about her, but then it's obvious. Great ending, and great fic :)
Oh, my goodness! What a beautiful, angsty fic. Every word seems carefully chosen with care, and it just fits in so nicely with this holiday season; I want to cry! I love how you show the problems in their relationship first, then some good moments, and then the hint of their reunion. The two passages in their voices were wonderful--very them, and I love how Ginny describes Draco: "dangerous, deceitful, and deadly." This line was so amazingly descriptive in its banality and randomness: "Fucking Draco was like breathing again after drowning in a cold cup of chicken noodle soup." So wonderful! The end, with Hermione, was perfect. Utterly perfect. And your use of snow never became trite or overdone. The whole feeling of this fic, actually, is like snow falling--quietly, slowly, gently, but with that edge from the cold and the ice. It's really wonderful, a perfect little gem. The prompt itself was so intriguing, and you made such a treasure of a fic out of it. It's really beautiful. :-)
Oh, this is gorgeous. I love the description of Draco after Hermione's comment - so lovely and angsty but without changing his character in the least. ♥ And I think it's the first time a mention of H/Hr has ever made me smile. :P
OMG! Loved the ending! I almost had a heart attack like Draco. Now when Hermione corrected him that SHE was Mrs. Potter now was priceless! Awesome! Made my throat constrict. :)
