AHHHHHHH! Sorry for taking so long to read. I've been excited about the stories but just haven't had time to start any, but of course I read the story written for me first!
This is such a beautiful story! I love your Draco and your feisty Ginny! I felt bad for Blaise, since he just got caught in the middle. And Harry was such a jerk. What was his deal? I'm sure Ginny's interest in Draco did nothing to relieve Harry of his dislike, but it still seemed like something else might have happened between Harry and Draco at some point before the story.
I like how this story started out as a mystery. It seemed like the question in everyone's minds was "Where is Draco Malfoy?" And it's interesting that there were plenty of people who wanted to keep his secret and refused to talk about him and his whereabouts. For some of those people, it might have been fear keeping their mouths shut (or, you know, money), but I like to think that there were people on Draco's side. Maybe people who saw what a humanitarian he was and just knew he wasn't guilty of the thefts (much like Ginny).
What I like most about this story (besides your Draco, because he was super yum) was 1) the overall mood of it. I don't know how to describe it except that this was an easy read with a nice hook to keep people interested, but nothing to exhaust a reader like an angsty story might have. (And maybe mood isn't the right word I'm looking for. Maybe tone is better? Something like that.) And 2) that bit of sexiness that I asked for in my prompt! It was light and tasteful, and like I said, your Draco? Yum! Loved him.
And the ending was super sweet and hopeful, not too fluffy at all. Thanks so much for the story, Mystery Author! I'm so happy with it! I might know who you are?? So I'm excited to see if my guess is right!
