Hello Everyone.
This is just a note. Since the due-date, we have received more offers for back-up writers than we have received assigned projects. There are still EIGHTEEN outstanding. From the mod's perspective, this is bordering on ridiculous, so we've made a decision.
Projects not handed in by Saturday, December 6th will be considered abandoned. Authors and artists will be slapped on the (very pretty) Wall of Shame. Back-ups will be utilized and projects created for drop-outs will still be posted but without their original prompt attached.
Not only that, but it's more than just going on the Wall of Shame and not being able to participate in the exchange again; it's about disappointing people who are looking forward to their prompts being realized in story form.
There are no more special cases. Long and the short of it, regardless of who you are, whether you're a newbie to exchanges, you're best friends with the mod, or you're writing for the fifth round in a row, this applies to everyone.
We both know how busy this time of year is, and we appreciate the hard work that goes into these projects, but all of us knew what was required before the sign-ups. PLEASE don't do this to the people you are writing/drawing for.
