Y'all got my fic, right? I just want to make sure before you have someone else write my prompt -- that would be awful considering I spent two weeks writing the fic and I think it was 45 pages long!

As far as needing a few pinch-hitters, here is my question: Why do people bother signing up if they aren't even going to go through with it? I know folks are busy, but I'm one of the busiest people I know and I managed to get mine in. I definitely lost sleep on several occasions trying to get all my regular stuff and the fic done. It's just silly to sign up and then not go through with it -- especially with no explanation. Just dropping off the face of the earth is tactless.

With that said, why don't you send me the prompts that need to be written and I'll see if any of them spark a plot bunny to hop through my brain. I have training at work all this week, but my Christmas shopping and cards are done. I just have a Christmas party and a few other Christmas-type things left to do, but I might be able to squeeze in a couple of shorter fics. I think I start my regular job-type stuff the day after Christmas, but I'll make sure of that and figure out my time schedule by the time I get off work today -- then I'll let you know by tomorrow morning. It also depends on when you'd need the fic by, so let me know that to, will you?

I heart y'all for all the work you've put in, and I'm so sorry that some other people have dropped the ball completely. What a way to make your jobs easier, yeah?

Yes, we certainly did get your fic. :] All 45 pages of it, even. ^_^

Unfortunately there are a lot more than seven fics that haven't gotten done, but we've decided not to pinch-hit for those people who appear to have dropped off the face of the earth. I mean, they gave no warning that they wouldn't be completing their prompts, and so it seems entirely unfair to have someone write their fic when they haven't had the same consideration for their own prompts. 0.o But that's just my own view.

Thanks! <333 I appreciate your offer to pinch-hit (more than you'd believe!), especially after your brilliant submission. :D

I'm hoping to get the majority of the pinch-hit fics in before December 30th, but I know how easy it is to loose track of things over Christmas, with extra family popping up everywhere and all those new toys to play with (can anyone say "xbox 360"? :P ), so I'm not totally averse to extending it a bit longer.

And on that note, you've been an absolute doll these last couple of weeks, love! *schnuggles* Do try and have a wonderful christmas!

Thanks, man. I don't know what I've done to be such a doll, but I'll take it!

Training at my new job is killing me. It continues next week, but I get hours that are more what I requested -- so things should even out a bit, then. So, with that said, I have a little time to get a fic or two done. If you want to send the prompts along, I can see if they inspire any plot bunnies given that there are prompts that need to be done (read: fics that need to be written for people that acutally turned their own assignments in).

I could probably have them done by the end of the year as well.

Just let me know if you need some help.
