Hello, Thoughts, & a Request
Hello everyone. I'm Cleo also known as Sacharissa. I only just joined this group and am new to the fandom. I rented the miniseries a couple of weeks back and saw it for the first time. I agree that DG/Cain is a little squicky to my fangirl, but aside from that, I can't really see him with anyone other than Adora (he was so devoted to finding her and his son, I don't think he'll be looking for a new relationship anytime soon).
And of course, DGlitch is so damn cute, and they have alot in common.
Well, I've always thought that though he has only half a brain left, it's the same brain he's always had, so his Glitch personality (or facets of) have always been present, but perhaps this is due to Ambrose's position or upbringing.
Same goes for Ambrose within Glitch: a member poited out when DG is hanging from the cage trying to get to the bridge, Glitch is calling for her to "Come back right now", a decidedly un-Glitch thing to do (he's a follower, and he agrees with the consensus); I believe this is the Ambrose part of him resurfacing. Perhaps the half ofhis brain they took out was his more logical side, thus leaving his dormant 'Glitch' side free to take over (complete reversal).
I'm not sureif any of that made sense, but it's the best way I could explain my 'headcanon'.
There are some great ones if you poke around here (And So They Slept is fantastic), and of course FF.net is pretty good as well :D
