Another good day...I could get used to this...

I got a whole lot done today! My doctors appointment went awesome this morning. Brown referred me to this doctor and Brown said she was awesome. My first impressions of her were, "Wow, she's awesome!" I've never felt that way about a doctor before ever. Doctors usually make me feel uncomfortable, even the ones that are good at what they do (like my ENT). She was completely the opposite and I think it's going to be a good thing. She's very thorough with everything, I didn't feel pushed off. She got a full history and tested me for EVERYTHING. I got blood work done and she tested for cholesterol levels, diabetes, just everything. Everything came back ok. We talked about the heart thing too. She doesn't seem to alarmed about it but she said if I notice it happening more frequently then she would hook me up to a 24 hour heart monitor...I would wear it all day, going about my normal duties...and that way she could get a better idea of what was happening. At this point I just feel like I'm a car that just got a tune up. It's like a clean slate, I just have to maintain it. I haven't had a doctor check me out completely since high school...that's a long time. But, all in all I think choosing her as my doctor is a really good choice. We'll see what happens down the road.

I then managed to get my emissions test done on my car. I've been putting that off long enough. I got an oil change. I got my car washed. And I got a lot of shopping done. I even bought stuff for dinner tonight and made a really good recipe from my "healthy recipes" app on my iPhone. It was scallops with onions, tomatoes, garlic, simmered in white wine, on top of whole wheat linguine. It was really good. I did not however manage to get any cleaning done today. I'll do that tomorrow. Because on Thursday, Brown, Urbanski, and myself are hanging out. Then Friday it's up to Rockford to see my best friend in the whole damn world! It's pretty much tomorrow or start school on Monday with a disgusting house. That...I don't want to do.

So things are good. They are still going good. 5 more days left in my spring break and 4 of them are jammed packed with activities. I could definitely use a few more days...
