Hello my trusty DFW experts. My special someone has a birthday coming up in a couple of weeks and I am looking for an extra special gift.
The obstacle I face every year is that he has pretty much everything he wants, and what he doesn´t have that he would like is wildly expensive. So I usually try to give him an experience for his birthday instead of something tangible. He loves cars so I was thinking it might be cool to rent a really nice car for him to drive, but supposedly Ferraris and that type of thing run $1000 for a few hours. My budget is more like... $100. Maybe there´s an aficionado organization or something that might be willing to rent one?
Professional driving or flying lessons would also work, except they are... wildly expensive. At least for now. So... do you have any suggestions? Any type of unique car or flying experience... is there hang gliding anywhere in DFW or is it just too stinking flat?... hot air balloons?... new (very new) technology-related gifts or experience... any special jazz events, since he plays sax...
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
