whew.
ok, time flies. i can't help it. by the time i get home, i just don't want to get on the computer!
this summer has been flying. i am nannying for a 6 year old. we have done all kinds of things so far. the zoo. swim lessons. swim birthday parties. the arboretum. this week we are doing zoo camp in fort worth. next week their family will be in nyc. i was supposed to go but due to the dad's cancelled business trip to canada, he is going instead. i'm actually pretty glad. i was looking forward to going to nyc since i love it so much. however, my charge has a BIT of a whining problem so i was sweating spending four days in nyc with her. can you say misery? if she's in a bad mood, no THANKS. so, i'm a-ok missing it. it also gives me a week off to do whatever i'd like. i'm looking forward to that too. i need to get on the ball and write my admissions essay to grad school and get my recs in to the college. sounds like fun, huh?
as far as the school thing goes, i figure i should go ahead and get myself accepted and enroll in at least three hours for the fall. if i don't get a teaching job, i will add more hours, if i do get a teaching job, it will force me to keep going in school when i will want to quit. i'm afraid if i slow down or stop with school it will be too easy not to go back.
adam and i celebrated our one year anniversary a couple of weeks ago. we went to my favorite restaurant for dinner and then went to see death: the musical at the pocket sandwich theater. it was a great night. i have mentioned the pocket sandwich several times since we started dating. he remembered all on his own to take me there b/c he knew i'd love it :) i'm such a lucky girl. i love him to pieces.
i can't think of much else going on although i'm sure there has been a ton. i will try to get better at posting.
