Service dog program in North Texas looking for puppyraisers

Do you love dogs and want to make a difference in the life of a person with a disability? Consider becoming a puppyraiser for Dogstar Assistance Dogs!
As a puppyraiser for DSAD, you would provide a home for a puppy in our training program. Your responsibilities would include socializing the puppy to various people, sights, sounds, and experiences. You would also train the puppy in in basic obedience, manners, and proper public behavior - you and your puppy would attend weekly classes for puppyraisers where you will learn the necessary skills to teach your puppy. While the puppy is with you, he will be able to enjoy being a puppy while learning the skills he needs to know and gaining confidence and maturity.
