Something drastic has happened, but no one is making a big deal about it. I guess it's because I'm not supposed to know.

Maybe it's just hearsay, but I doubt it. It was so obvious that it would happen between the 2 of them.

If you aren't supposed to know then don't wonder why about the situation. Let it alone and go on with your life and don't concern yourself with business that doesn't concern you.

That's harsh but it's reality!

I'm not the one who made it my business.

agreed. i kind of think the person having the mental breakdown made it everyone else's business.

If a person has a mental breakdown over other people's business then said person needs to seek help.

Let other people's business be yours and worry about yourself and don't involve yourself even if someone else wants you to.

It's hard enough for people to take care of themselves especially when they start concerning themselves with other people.

Even if it involves your best friend, let her deal with it. There are situations you need to involve yourself but that's only to get that person out of a dangerous situation.

hence it has been posted to a public forum with commenting allowed?

i dont know what the problem is and i dont care. i just think it is pretty stupid to post this to the collective and then get mad when people comment back. you can turn commenting off. perhaps posting it in your own journal under the "private" setting where no one else can read it would be an option as well.

But why is it your business at all if it does not concern you. Because you hear something or someone tells you something doesn't automatically make it your business. Just don't concern yourself with it and move on with your life and your own business.

You don't have to be sucked into anything that does not concern you.

"But why is it your business at all if it does not concern you."

BECAUSE THERE IS A FUCKING PUBLIC POST ABOUT IT ON THE INTERNET.

"You don't have to be sucked into anything that does not concern you."

Duh. But it's on the internet. In a community that's devoted to anonymously discussing people's problems, weirdnesses, etc. Therefore, putting a post up about it in this community makes it everyone else's business, and opens itself up to interpretation.
