It doesn't pay to be nice. I keep telling myself that, but I keep doing things to be nice to people. All I do is get crapped on.
Yesterday too many things happened at work (yet another 11 1/2 hour work day) and I almost called the hotline to file a formal complaint. Luckily I was able to talk to someone and felt better after that, but I am still keeping my notes.
But, then I am trying desperately to get a job. I applied for a one that required a clerical skills test that I have to take by a certain date. I call to get an appointment and the only available date to take the exam? The day someone asked me to switch shifts with them. I screwed myself over so they could have a long weekend.
Why does nothing ever work out for me?
