Fucked up sleeping schedule and Legend of the Seeker (plus others)
I posted this first on Tumblr, since I thought it would be short before it ended up long
Thursday night: get 2 hours of sleep (studied for a midterm)
Friday afternoon: get several hours of sleep (via nap)
Friday night/Saturday morning: get 2.5 hours of sleep (had to get up at 4am for a class field trip on a boat)
Saturday afternoon: get 6-7 hours of sleep (via nap)
Saturday night/Sunday morning: get 10 hours of sleep (HOWEVER not until 5am just because I wasn’t tired, which meant I woke up at 3pm)
Sunday night/Monday morning: still up at 2am. Not tired and am sure I won’t be for at least another hour. Have to get up at 8am.
In related news, last night while trying to will my mind into grogginess, watched 3 episodes of Legend of the Seeker that I never got to. Now just one left - the series finale. God I hope it’s conclusive and Richard and Kahlan finally get to bang, so what if he turns into her mentally-controlled slave it’s not like he’d mind.
Random thoughts include: Why am I becoming attracted to Darken Rahl?; Not to mention Kahlan are some of the most beautiful/hot women ever, I mean, srsly; This show is so fucking corny I can’t even sometimes; But dammit I love it anyway; Plus the women are generally bad-ass and all around awesome; Between that and the attractiveness of this cast it’s hard not to at least semi-ship most everyone: Richard/Kahlan, Kahlan/Cara, Richard/Cara, Richard/Kahlan/Cara, Cara/Leo, Cara/Dahlia, Richard/that-Mord-Sith-whose-name-I-can’t-remember-from-S1, and in the totally wrong way: Darken Rahl/Kahlan and Darken Rahl/Cara (I blame the S1 finale for DR/K and the fact that Cara used to ‘serve’ DR); Speaking of Leo, yay! seeing Leo again (even though it just made me really sad again)
Also watched tonight’s The Borgias (Lucrezia is made of awesome, lol at Cesare’s my-brother-is-a-fucking-idiot face, don’t whip Freddy!, and THERE’S ONLY ONE MORE EPISODE?) and am going to watch Game of Thrones to see if it will make me sleepy. Tomorrow’s also the Gossip Girl season finale. I read spoilers because I just couldn’t put up with this shit anymore. Some aspects leave me (severely) disappointed in how the show’s handled things, but it’s still 10x better than what I was sure was going to happen (or not happen).
