That was bloody Good! But then you always do Good Fic.

I've been craving a pre-series 2 fic for a short while. That is the period of time where there can be a tension between the two that is different in series 2. Plus you can re-create the 'falling in love' story that is always fun to hear.

I love the reveal. You know it was coming one way or another. I would have loved if Gwen had to been in Arthur's presents a little bit longer to drive up the tension.

It was good that Gwen goes to help 'the needy'. Bless her!

The making out was hot! The sex was hotter! I didn't know if they would go all the way but when they did it felt right.

When Gwen was in court I wondered what Arthur felt/thought when Gwen was there.

I loved Gwen talking about the Swordsman to the children.

Yes, that is the one thing about A&G already falling in canon. BUT THAT'S WHY GOD CREATED AU FICS. And thus, AU S2 Merlin fics. Then we can experiment with all sorts of ways to have them fall in love.

God this is totally going in my memories!

This was a really ingenius plot, the idea that Arthur has a duel identity; by day, he's the prince of Camelot; by night, he's the Swordman! Just like a real superhero. :D I don't know why but at the very start with Gwen becoming infactuated with Arthur's alter-ego I was reminded of that episode of The Simpsons when Marge became infactuated with Homer's alter-ego 'Pieman'. God knows why I thought of that of all things. I loved the little Phantom reference(s) too.

I think it's so cute that Arthur is the town hero for the kids and that they *all* want to be like him. God, imagine if Arthur was, somehow, caught out as being 'Swordman'. His popularity would ZOOM and Uther's face would be priceless!!! I have this image of a great unmasking running in my head... LOL!!!

Obviously the smut was excellent and it is very clever that it was simply a laps in concentration, saying her name that gave him away. Clearly he simply didn't have the presence of mind that he had when they were just kissing. ;)

Arthur as the Nightwatchman is totally an awesome idea...

The thing is though, I can totally see Gwen or Arthur doing something like that... obviously if we knew Gwen was completely kick-arse like Marian it would make more sense. But the thought of Arthur doing that makes me warm inside.

And the added factor of Gwen falling for him etc etc.

You mean cuz it's pretty sexy, right? ;) I know what you mean, though. My favorite S1 ep was 1x10, Arthur being all caring about the Ealdorians & fighting for them being one of the main reasons.

Gwen was so awesome with helping the town’s people and her story with the kid was perfect. Arthur was perfect as the Swordsman. This goes on my list of top 10 best fics.
