He is risen!
Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are enjoying your families and praising the Lord for his most awesome sacrifice!
I'm currently at home with my parents. I got the car this weekend, so that was nice. I also had class at 9AM this morning (Saturday)... so it wasn't fun getting up that early and driving in on a weekend. But, it redeemed itself - I ended up hanging out with Alyssa during the afternoon driving all around downtown. We went to the Rock Bottom Brewery and then to the Goose on Delaware St. for the best gelatto in the city!
So, did you think that my College Saga (see previous entry) was over? Oh no... it's not. However, I'm going to wait a couple of more days to see if there are any more substantial updates to clue you in on. Ha... oh the life of college.
I've figured out that I'm going to have to wait until the fall semester to take Japanese. It turns out that the beginning "intro" class is 5 credit hours... and there's no way I'm taking a 5 credit hour course on an accelerated 6 week schedule. I'll take some business classes instead, and save Japanese for the fall. I'll probably pick up a good book to learn about Japanese culture and/or the Japanese language. I'm 5 chapter's in to Learning to Bow by Bruce Feiler, and even though it was writing almost 20 years ago, it's a great insight in Japanese culture! Thanks V-chan for lending me the book... over a year ago... but I AM READING IT.
I have a big Econ test that will determine my grade this week, so wish me luck!
Rachael
P.S. - I got a 94% on my Business Law exam! (Almost a 20% improvement...)
