Shugo Chara! Doki!
I have fallen victim to the whims and wiles of sugary sweet anime. le gasp... Thanks V-Chan!
So, in about a week and a half, I powered through all of Shugo Chara's available episodes, including "doki," and enjoyed almost every minute of it... "Every kid holds an egg in their soul, the egg of our hearts..." GYAH. If I hear that one more time I will scream. However, it does surprisingly captivate you. The art is FANTASTIC, and the messages are great. Also, it provides a lot of character development that adults can read into and understand at a deeper level.
Ikuto, ftw. He's the best male character on that show... and if you listen to his voice in hi-def surround sound-ish speakers, you will die. And I mean it. YOU WILL DIE. It will be a sweet death...
Shugo Chara plushies, anyone? Good luck. I've traversed the internet up and down, backwards and forwards, but I can't find any available for purchase. Dumb America and its lack of good Japanese commercial merchandise.
In other news, I'm back at school after a great Spring Break! I'm trying to force myself to get down to business (*to defeat the huns....* [Mulan]), but I'm lacking some motivation. Ideas?
