whats going on??

its really been bothering me lately the number of conversations i hear between other people in which the entire discussion consists of each participant waiting his/her turn to say something that is equally uninteresting and meaningless. day after day, i try to converse with many people, just hoping that at some point someone will actually have something to say, other than what you would expect them to. i think one big problem here is lack of sincerity. more and more people are becoming so insincere that almost everything they say is just a degree of conformity. in such theorization, i have been seen as very antisocial at times, and i often ignore and/or entirely avoid talking to certain people, knowing very well there is nothing to be gained. does this seem greedy? or arrogant? i guess you could look at it that way.
am i interested in actually connecting with someone while having a conversation, instead of talking for 10 minutes and accomplishing nothing? yes. i guess if theres something wrong with that, i have a problem. maybe im too picky, but i dont think anyone can argue the fact that an overwhelming amount of people simply rant on about themselves or their problems, rather than trying to get to know someone, or quench their thirst for knowledge. well. looks like america isnt very thirsty these days.
ok im really wierd.
i hope some day i can find someone who understands my points of view on particular subjects.
another thing. how on earth do you become a bum? i mean, honestly, is there a waiting line or something?
the only way i can fathom ever becoming a bum is if the following conditions are met:
1) fired from job
2) robbed and left with not a dime
3) all family and friends die suddenly

without those three things occuring, i dont see how i could possibly be forced to live on the streets. mike laake and i had a conversation about this last night, and its actually pretty flabbergasting.

ok my break is almost over, and i gotta use the potty.
