does anyone get it?

i just watched the tv news show "Extra" ) while eating dinner. the segment i saw really made me think.
it was about celebrities being in danger because of the outrageous paparazzi that was following them. for instance, jessica simpson was practically being run over by photographers while leaving a restaraunt at which she was eating lunch, simply going home from lunch. it really bothers me that what people consider "entertainment" (ie watching this segment in "Extra"), is a story about how celebrities cant deal with the amount of people following them around. cant we find something a little more intellectual.
not only that, but i already believe paparazzi is completely absurd. its crazy to me that there are actually groups of people that get paid to harass people who are only famous becuase the world is easily entertained.

im probably all sorts of crazy.
does this make sense to anyone?

one more thing. while watching the billboard music awards last night on fox, while exiting to commercial break, the announcer, who is the dude who does all the fox shows, he said something along the lines of "performing later, pitbull and reggaeton (long pause) superstar daddy yankee, ..." he paused between reggaeton and superstar becuase he was completely unaware of what he was really talking about, and assumed reggaeton was a name of a rapper or something, and reggaeton was performing with pitbull. so he then paused and said superstar daddy yankee, thinking it was a totally different person, rather than the person who he shouldve said was performing with pitbull.

youll notice, ive just reenforced what i said after the first paragraph.
