weekend adventures
went to traverse city this weekend with my good friend zarah moeggenberg.
good times.
zarah's family is insane and hilarious. :-) i enjoyed them very much. especially her grandparents, who had a 20 minute discussion with the priest who refused to pray on the subject of indians. nice.
we spent a lot of time at the beach.
there was a horribly rude lady there with her little dog (poodle or whatever...it looked like a stuffed animal) and she yelled at some nice man for not having his very well-behaved dog on a leash. then she proceeded to walk up the beach to her things and grab a giant pool raft. dog still on the leash, she put the raft in at the water's edge, placed her little dog on top of it, and continued to walk the dog out into the water with the leash in hand, never once sitting on the raft because, after all, it was for the dog.
then she talked to the animal for a good 20 minutes.

by herself.
this woman was insane. and hilarious.
these were the highlights of my traverse city weekend.
