She doesn't settle for simply walking into the room like any normal person would; she strolls in, with the expectation and assurance that every single person in the room will have their eyes on her from the minute she enters. She has complete faith in the effectiveness of her beauty and charm (and considering her parentage, why wouldn't she?), but ( Read more... )

"Oh, you know, darling. The kind where only the best and brightest are invited; where there are plenty of good-looking people willing to fight over you?" She places a finger to her lip, thoughtful. "Who ever truly enjoys the easily attainable?" Anosia asks, with a slight arch of an eyebrow, emphasis on the word 'easily'. That's the true currency of human emotion. Greed and envy."

"Mm, so you say," she wrinkles her nose in slight disbelief. "I don't see how you could ever be memorable." Ah, trash-talk. The way all wars are started, essentially.

"That's because you got the awful taste in the family, dear."

"No," brightly, "I'm just more discerning than most, it seems."

"Well," just as brightly, "let me know when you find the best. I'd be thrilled to learn from her."

She looks thoughtful for a moment as if considering a snappy repartee, then, surprisingly enough, winks. "I think we both have, already."
