Is this the real life? Is it just fantasy?--

If he resembled one of his parents more than the other, he would have appeared in a flash-- looking unapproachably cool. If he resembled his other parent more, he would have arrived smiling, attentively friendly. His entrance, however, is like neither, because he resembles both of them equally. It's subtle-- an absentminded entrance, reading an ( Read more... )

*has to laugh* Only you could not only pull off an entrance like that, but make us all wish we'd tried it too. * -- has a kitten on her shoulder, whom she'll make wave* Hi, hey you, Klutz. *innocent*

*grins at her* No, no, see, it was carefully crafted to make everyone go 'Oh, that poor bloke, tripping over everything; I'll have to make friends with him because I pity him so much'. It's all part of my master plan.

*grins* So you want people to only make friends with you out of pity? Then how will you tell who's only talking to you out of that and who's actually taken in by your swoon-worthy looks and dashing charm?

See, everyone's eventually taken in by my charm, but the pity only makes them more vulnerable to it. They'll be sitting there, bemoaning my lack of coordination, and then - wham! - it'll suddenly hit them that ...I have no bloody idea what I'm talking about. So. How's life, Apphia?

*has to giggle* Really? I couldn't tell at all. Life's absolutely wonderful, everyone's here -- or, well, most people are, and it's so good to see people here.

...I can't decide whether I should be thrilled or terrified that so many of us are here. I'll settle for thinking that if the world's going to end, or something's going to explode, this is the best way to have it happen.

Oh, it's wonderful even when it's awful. *beams* Although I still think that Dad and the others should just drive Mustangs next time the world's about to end. *...everyone who knows her has probably been subjected to this argument before*

I think they should all climb into a Trojan horse and ride that to the Apocalypse. *teasingly* But we're both biased, and both a little wrong in the head.

*laughs* That would be something. If only for what Aunt War would do after half an hour in an enclosed space with the rest of them. *and puts on a mock-offended expression* Samuel Nonexistant-middle-name Crowley, what an awful thing to say to a girl. Even if it is true.

..You know, that would be a lot more frightening if you weren't so nonthreateningly adorable. And maybe a little taller. *ruffles her hair*

*...scowls at him, which probably doesn't help* It's terribly tragic, I can never be properly threatening. It's all Mum's fault.

Okay, see, if you only would have said -- *attempts a pretty decent impression of her* Samuel Nonexistant-middle-name Crowley, what an awful thing to say to a girl. I should ban you from watching soap operas forever. -- then I probably would have died with fear. Sometimes it's about what you say rather than how you say it.

*clasps a hand to her heart* I have so much to learn from you. *and -- after a moment, solemnly* Samuel Nonexistant-middle-name Crowley, what an awful thing to say to a girl. I should ban you from ever attending another theatre performance. * -- brightly* That better?

*..widens his eyes slightly* No, that's just-- You can't-- How can I survive without watching a bunch of highschoolers butcher The Music Man? How?! Where will I be without the out of tune singing in Ya Got Trouble? How can I live without the awkward choreographed dancing in the song Shipoopi--? *clutches his heart and after some very dramatic staggering about, collapses on a nearby sofa* *--raise his head after a moment* I actually have no idea if I was being sarcastic or not.

Typist: DAMN IT, I misread the comment originally. Well. At least you can see the hilarity of what would have happen if she had said that.

*...bursts out giggling, covering her mouth with a hand automatically* I don't either, sadly enough. And don't worry, I couldn't possibly ever be that cruel.

Typist: ♥ He continues to be adorable.

Okay, brill. In that case, I have a couple of free tickets to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, which means that you, thanks to your kind generosity, are invited. *grins*
