A boy wanders in with a husky-esque puppy at his heels. He (the boy) is just over average in height and he has a hereditarily thin build, though he does at least manage to look healthy. Something else he's inherited is the red hair, though it's a far more natural shade than his father's, and his eyes are a sort of pale charcoal at the moment, ( Read more... )

Animals as a whole tend to be way more interesting than their owners. I'm sure Gemma could hold a conversation much better than I could -- though I don't think she could give better sex, but I really don't want to think about that, ew. Anyway. *grins!* Ky Hades, pleasure to meet both you and Joth.

Mm. Pet sex. Now there's a conversation starter. If you were my half-brother, I'd almost think you were trying to make me go away. *Joth is going to make a circle around Ky, sniffing at his ankles*

I'm incredibly talented at giving great first impressions, clearly. *grins, a little sheepishly* I like people, I promise I'm not trying to get rid of you already. *awwww -- meaning he'll kneel and poof up some sort of doggy treat, which'll be offered to the puppy*

*shrugs and kind of smiles* That's all right. I'm not that easy to get rid of anyway. *yay, treats! watch Joth bounce and gobble it down* Besides, you've now made best friends for life with my dog.

Good to know. *and beams* Oh, awesome, it's always great to be appreciated. *Joth gets earscritches now ^__^*

*Joth is totally adoring Ky now, kthnx* He appreciates anyone who gives him attention and particularly appreciates anyone who gives him treats. Granted, he's usually partial to the ladies but he's not that picky.

Well, I do my best. *and laughs* Well, they do say that having a dog is a great way to meet girls.

Yep. Dogs and kids. Seeing as I'm not looking to have any children around for at least the next ten years, I'll stick with the mutt.

Smart boy. *grins* I'm sure Da could rhapsodize at length about the privileges that come with a childless life and how that opportunity's slipped through his fingers long ago.

Thoughtful of you. Of course, you're probably all crazy with a family that size but I can't really hold that against you.

*grins* Most Hadeses are crazy in our own special way. Especially those of us privileged enough to be Greeks on our other side.

I see. I'll have to keep that fact in mind. Apparently being used to dealing with nutjobs and crackpots is going to be more useful than I'd thought.
