*the first thing anyone's going to notice is the crackling sound of flames filling the air; the second thing will be, a few seconds later, the sound's source making itself evident by the rather large column of orange flame that's materialized out of nowhere in particular -- this will slowly resolve itself into the shape of a young man, still molded out of orange fire -- and then the flames will, abruptly, extinguish entirely, leaving said young man (or, rather, young angel) in their wake*
*he's a little shorter than average, maybe two inches under six feet, unmistakably angelic, or, if you're not familiar with such things, unmistakably not human (though his wings aren't visible at the moment); he's got longish, messyish, wavy hair that's either dark blond or light brown and light blue eyes* *in something of a betrayal to half of his origins and in tribute to the other, he's dressed in black -- jean jacket, T-shirt, and jeans -- with a silver crucifix necklace around his neck (thanks to his angelic father)*
*he'll stretch absently and crack his knuckles before introducing himself -- there may be something of mischief in his expression, but while his smile is oddly charming and far too close to a smirk, it's also entirely good-natured and friendly, as is his voice when he speaks* Hi.
