*he may not quite be paying attention to you as he wanders in, but don't take it personally, he's just trying to properly set the watch that's around his left wrist while simultaneously taking that pen out from between his teeth and tucking it behind his ear*
*he's tallish, maybe two inches over six feet, with short brown hair and light blue eyes that are almost striking, about twenty years old, dressed in slacks and a buttoned-up white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows (his arms and hands are covered in notes made in blue ink in small, not particularly neat handwriting) and a small cell phone in the shirt pocket -- his generally pleasant air mostly overcomes the slightly closed-off nature of his (still fairly attractive) features and the (slightly) less evident state of unfortunate, hopeless distraction*
*and then he glances up with a smile that's mostly friendly even if it looks a little like he feels he has to* Helios Pendergast. Is this where my family's gotten to?
