Aurore wandered into the mansion, and grinned to find it empty. This was exactly what she wanted. She pulled a table over to the center of the room, and disapparated away, only to return in a moment with a 2' x 3' piece of wood, the same size as she hanging she made for Nar. She set it on the table facing the doorway, propping it up with a hasty spell, and stepped back to survey her work.

The coffee table's dark wood complimented the hanging. The hanging itself was a pale colored wood, and the scene depicted on it was breathtakingly beautiful. It was a view of a castle from the road leading up to it. The castle loomed over two dusty travelers, who were both on horseback. The horses hooves kicked up clouds of dust behind them, and they were travelworn but determined. The two travelers were both young women, who were as weary as the horses, but were cheeful at reaching their destination. One was smiling gently, the other was laughing with her head thrown back. The gates of the castle were thrown open to recieve them, and a dog was running towards them, depicted mid-bark.

The carving itself was stunning, but the embellishments were something else altogether. The wood had been stained with black lines that outlined the figures delicately, making them stand out from the background and scenery. The cheeks of the women were ruddy, and one of the horses was black, while the other was chestnut. The dog was an irish setter, red on the near-white wood. It was the castle, though, that dominated the picture. It was stained grey, and the cracks and stones in the walls were outlined in silver leaf, which had been bonded to the wood with means both magical and muggle. The gates as well were leafed with silver, and the harness and saddles on the horses had gold trim. Indeed, anywhere it was possible to put precious metals to enrich the picture, Aurore had. It did not look gaudy. She had used just the right amount, and the picture was absolutely stunning.

Aurore examined it for a moment before stepping forward and touching the stained glass window that was at the front of the castle, above the gold-lined doors. She closed her hand into a fist, and when she opened it, a ruby was nestled in her palm. She smiled at it for a moment, then placed it over the window, and used her wand to sink it into the wood and bond it. Grinning she stepped back. The hanging was complete.

Murmuring something, Aurore waved her wand in the air. A ribbon appeared and formed itself into the words "For Eve Constantine", then hovered over the hanging. Rore bounced a little, and went to sit in the corner, where she was not visible from the doorway. The hanging however, was the first thing in sight when you entered the room.
