An inquiry for our more pet-savvy G2ers
My daughter is going to be turning three next month. I'm trying to come up with a special gift for her, and the idea of getting her a pet popped into my head.
I don't know a great deal about what animals are good around young kids and which ones would be more low-maintenance compared to the others. I've mostly kept cats and I had a dog at one point so I know what I'm doing with them, but I was curious about something smaller like a rabbit or a ferret maybe?
Anyone here kind enough to offer some ideas or advice?
