*takes her hand -- doesn't shake it, simply holds it for a moment, not too tightly, then inclines his head in a way that implies a full-out bow* *quietly* It's nice to meet you.

Well, it's a good thing in the way that you do not actually seem upset; meeting a being of few words can be pleasant. It can be a bad thing, too, however, when someone is trying to be friendly, for they might take it that you are giving them a cold shoulder.
