An entrance

It enters, or perhaps it was always there, but either way, It is here now, and that is all that matters. It is fuzzy for a moment, as if deciding just what it wants to be - because it can be anything, everything, whenever It cares to be so. It lights on the ground, easily stepping like one about to float back off. It has decided on androgeny today

*just stares, because...this can't be what it feels like, though that's certainly what it looks like, but that just doesn't make any sense, and ok, this whole coherent thought thing is just going to stop now because there is no processing this. there's just not.*

*so, just stands there and stares silently, until her arms tightening around Cleopatra make her mew in protest, which snaps her out of it, although she is still quiet and subdued*

...Hello. My name is Sarah. *another mew prompts her to look down at the kitten, whom she indicates to the new arrival* ...This is Cleopatra. She says 'Hi,' too.

I know. *but not in a know-it-all-way, just a simple, cheerful statment* But hello! *smiles brightly at her, and then tells Cleopatra 'hello' in her own language*

*smiles slightly* ....I never expected to see you around here.

Cleopatra: *mews and stares, expressing confusion as to why the human-shaped thing is speaking cat*

But I so like to be around you. You're all so comfortable. *giggles at the cat, then floats over to rest Its head on Sarah's shoulder as if to prove the point, though physical comfort is not what it meant at all*

*after a moment of surprise, wraps an arm around It's waist and snuggles close*

Cleopatra: *bats at It, but is a good girl and doesn't bite*

*giggles again, snuggling close, and then pets the kitten soothingly with Its free hand, not at all bothered about the bats*

*watches them and smiles, emanating contentment* *still quite firmly attached to It's side*

She's spunky. Fierce, even. But very pretty. Like her namesake. You give good names.

*blushes shyly* Thank you, I thought it was appropriate.

Cleopatra: *gnaws lightly at It's finger*

Very much so. *cuddles Sarah, and grins, letting Cleopatra gnaw happily*

*leans her head on It comfortably and sighs helplessly at the kitten* Well, at least I've got her to stop using her teeth.

Cleopatra: *gnawgnawgnaw ^___^*

She'll grow out of gnawing, too. She just thinks I taste good. *beams*

*giggles* I hope so. *beams back and snuggles*

Cleopatra: *rubs her head against It's hand* *pet me now!*

*strokes Cleopatra's head, curling around Sarah contentedly*

*puts her head on It's shoulder and closes her eyes, feeling Safe*
