The smell of cigarette smoke precedes him, if not by much. Likely, whoever may be in the room is just starting to perk up, sniffing at the air and wondering where that's coming from, when he steps in, lowering the cigarette in question from his lips with two fingers, checking the clearly heavy and expensive wristwatch on his other arm as he does so

Anosia gives him a brief, unimpressed once-over; they've probably met before, knowing the family, but there aren't many people that she actually pays attention to or keeps track of (or finds worthy enough to keep track of). "Should we have?" She asks, quirking an eyebrow.

[mouthofagun]

"Absolutely," he all but drawls, arching a curious eyebrow at her in return, both expression and stance automatically just a bit more guarded than before. "They call me the life of the party."

It's not that she really dislikes any of her relations. It's mainly that she's ambivalent towards them, but naturally a bitch. "Really." The tone of her voice is flat, but her eyes are amused. "Unfortunately, I don't believe I'm part of whatever group you're calling 'they'."

[mouthofagun]

"Well, that would be your loss, then, wouldn't it?" He's got another faint smile playing over his lips, nothing too overtly amused. "I'm nothing short of a bundle of fun."

"Prove yourself, then." She waves her hand, airly, a mischievous glint to her eyes. "Entertain me."

[mouthofagun]

"I can only provide that if you're patient and receptive to dazzlingly witty banter." A slight shrug. "Or if you need something repaired."

"I suppose I could try to be patient," she replies, a faint pout settled on her face (because, really, patience isn't her forte), "and I suppose that this place is lackluster enough that anything would seem entertaining right about now."

[mouthofagun]

"You suppose," he repeats, rather amused. "Is it really so boring? There seem to be enough people that interest would manufacture itself."

[allsfairin]

"Murder, love, violence, general mayhem; I've seen it all," she makes a slight face. "The downfall to being Greek, I suppose. Nothing really surprises you anymore."

[mouthofagun]

"Mm." Alexandros rather has to concede to that. "I understand that particular sentiment, of course, but I don't find myself completely bored by life."

[allsfairin]

Anosia wrinkles her nose slightly, elegantly, if that's possible. "Lucky. Life would be difficult to bear if it wasn't for the occasional party. No wonder the gods mess with the mortals so much."

[mouthofagun]

A quiet snort that's not quite a proper laugh. "Mm, well, maybe it's merely that I don't have quite enough divine blood. I'll need to work on increasing my apathy."

[allsfairin]

"It's amazingly simple not to give a damn, actually," she replies, glancing at her nails with a bored expression as if to make a point.

[mouthofagun]

"So I would imagine." He shrugs slightly. "I'm hardly the most passionate person, but I prefer to maintain some level of interest in life."

"That's why you fix things, isn't it?" She makes another face. "I don't understand it."

[mouthofagun]

"A large part of it, yes." Another shrug. "What's so very difficult to understand about it?"
