Likely, whoever may be in the room is just starting to perk up, sniffing at the air and wondering where that's coming from, when he steps in, lowering the cigarette in question from his lips with two fingers, checking the clearly heavy and expensive wristwatch on his other arm as he does so

That absolute beam is the one reserved strictly for family, because siblings of any fraction happen to be some of the best things around, if you ask him. "Alexandros! You're finally here! We totally missed you and stuff." Yes, yes, you know which emoticon is not being used to properly convey this expression.

All right, so Dies gets something of a grin, too, because that can't be resisted either, and he does look genuinely pleased to see him. "What a pleasant surprise. Finally, your lives can resume. Sexually frustrated people around the world will be given relief."

"I know, right? It's been pretty much agony for everyone. I hope you know it's all on you." And okay, Alexandros, prepare for Diestackling, because obviously one comment is the longest he can wait before family gets hugged. "But it is totally awesome to see you, I mean it!"

[mouthofagun]

There's a muffled "oof" of surprise, as he was sort of expecting that but wasn't sure when he might need to brace himself. "You always mean it," he observes, hugging him obligingly. That might be either mocking, affectionate, or affectionately mocking.

"'Course I do. It's 'cause I love you." Yes, yes, more far-too-bright beaming goes here. "What've you been up to? And no, not like that, I can tell that on my own, unless you have really fun stories you want to share."

He actually laughs. "Oh, nothing out of the ordinary." Which, for him, is sort of out of the ordinary for most normal people, but -- "For the most part, I repair things. Clocks, phones, various electronics, cars if people are genuinely desperate. It's proven a good way to get money out of people."

That makes him look a little intrigued because he does love to hear what his siblings have been doing. "That sounds pretty cool. And of course, you do it for the joy of helping people out, not the money." A prompting shoulderpoke, followed by another grin.

[mouthofagun]

All right, another quiet laugh, one that's almost apologetic. "Would you like me to lie to you?" he asks, tone verging on oddly polite.

"Nah, don't worry about it, I know you." Which, because he was just reminded, is going to elicit an even brighter grin that before, as well as what might be the tiniest bit of actual bouncing. "Oh! Oh! Which reminds me, guess what. Guess what guess what guess what."

With Dies, even he's sincerely interested to hear whatever this may be. "Do I have to actually guess, or can you just tell me to quell my rising excitement?"

And it's not like he can resist just blurting it out. "I have a boyfriend!" Yes, this is accompanied by the biggest proverbial carat-endlessunderscores-carat known to G2kind.

For a second or two, his expression is rather blank. That was not what he was expecting. "You're monogamous?" is the first thing he thinks to ask him.

Dies can't help laughing at that, almost a little sheepishly. "Well, yeah. Apart from where Dad's concerned, 'cause you know how he is, but -- yeah."

[mouthofagun]

He pauses for a moment. Finally: "Congratulations," he says, slowly. "I would never have expected it."

[solvetsaeclum]

He laughs again, still rather sheepishly, but this beam is unavoidable. "Thanks. It's -- I didn't either, really, but it's pretty much amazing. And it's one of your partially-cousins, actually." Yeah, uh, cue even brighter beaming here.

[mouthofagun]

"Oh?" He lets an eyebrow quirk curiously; he'd try to guess as to which one, but there are too many to really even begin to contemplate.
