The girl -- no, the young woman enters, deeply engrossed in a book on sorcery. Unfortunately, there's a couch in her path. She trips over it with a mostly-muffled curse and, somehow, lands in a spectacularly tangled pile on the floor. "Ow," she finally says, directing a scowl at the couch. Here's a flying bundle of bright colors launched at and now attached to Kalyn's back. Have an aunt. "'Bout fucking time!"

"Ack!" She tilts her head to at least attempt to see who it is. "Lena, now I can't get up. Please get off?"

There's a sigh. "Fine, fine." And she jumps off. "What took you so long?"

Kalyn attempts to untangle herself and stands, grabbing her book as she does so. "I was working on a spell." She makes a face. "It sort of, um, exploded on me."

"Yeah, big shocker there." She's so sweet. "What was this one for?"

"Like you could do any better?" So is she, really. "I was trying to levitate things. It ...didn't happen."

"Hey, I can levitate shit." She's clearly been with Dario recently... and likely they were both high. Because that's when they both curse the most, and it takes a little while to wear off.

Kalyn just quirks an eyebrow at that. "The chair exploded. There were feathers everywhere. Bet you can't beat that."

"Why were there feathers in a chair?"

"Cause it was one of the poofy nice ones." She shrugs. "Well, now it's in little bits, so it's not so nice anymore."

"Oooooooo, Liiry's gonna kiiiiiill yooooou..." Her smile is big and bright and not at all worried. "Can I watch?"

"Nah, he's not." She reaches over and tugs at Lena's hair. "He'll just give me that look. You know the one."

"The 'stop making my chairs explode' one?" She playfully bites at the fingers going for her hair.

"Yeah, that one." There's a poke. "Hey! No biting nieces."

[teh_littlest_tc]

"Well, no hair-tugging aunts!"

"But it's all -- pretty and colorful!"
