The girl -- no, the young woman enters, deeply engrossed in a book on sorcery. Unfortunately, there's a couch in her path. She trips over it with a mostly-muffled curse and, somehow, lands in a spectacularly tangled pile on the floor. "Ow," she finally says, directing a scowl at the couch. Then she looks around and shakes her head

"Bit tall for a house elf, aren't you?"

"Aw, that's cute. Very new, very inventive. Never heard anything like it before." Kalyn gives him a rather annoyed look.

"Why comment if you don't care?"

"Care what you think, I mean."

"You're under the impression that I care what you think."

"It certainly sounded like it." She gives him a flat look and hugs her book closer.
