Yep. He forgot it was his birthday.

"When's the last time you looked at a calendar? And didn't Mom and Dad call?"

"I had the phone off the hook 'cause it kept ringing while I was trying to study." He frowns a little. "What day is it?"

"Well gee, if I'm telling you 'Happy Birthday', what day do you think it is?"

"Fuck. It's my birthday. Why today?"

"Don't blame me, blame Mom and Dad for their lack of planning skills."

Pokecuddle. "It's just that now I can't put my phone back on the hook for the next two days because I have a paper due and everyone's going to be trying to call me."
