There is a half-elf in the kitchen.
Finding himself in an unfamiliar mansion in a landscape that is obviously not Lorien, Anafiel has retired to the kitchen to bake. It's a habit he picked up from his father, and he finds it calming. Greeting the other inhabitants can happen later. If they're curious or hungry, they're welcome to come greet him now. There's a casserole in the oven and muffins cooling on the stove.
Typist : Meet Celebanthir Anafiel Haldirion, adopted half-elf son of Alcuin no Delaunay and Haldir of Lorien. He was raised with the elves in Lorien, but retains much of the morals and culture of his D'Angeline parent. He's brave and true, a total sweetheart and vastly more emotionally stable than Alcuin (thank god).
For a note on canon: Celebanthir is 28 but appears 16 due to being half-elf. He was orphaned and adopted by Alcuin and Haldir at age two, a year after they moved to Lorien. In DF canon, Alcuin and Haldir moved to Lorien a year ago and lived happily ever after. I later brought Alcuin back as a character and continued to play him, although he doesn't have memories of what happened after he went to Lorien with Haldir and can't figure out how to get back. Celebanthir is attached to the canon in which Alcuin and Haldir moved to Lorien and lived happily ever after.
(I checked with Dili and Maja, and they said the weird canon was okay. Hopefully it won't cause any problems or too much confusion.)
