A little boy wanders in with a definite bounce to his step, stopping with a look of surprise as he enters what is obviously not the room he was expecting to walk into. His hair is a shaggy mix of brown and blond and his eyes are blue and extremely attentive as the initial shock and minor panic become a case of childish curiosity. From his mouth

Level Seven! *this expression would be best described as ^___^* I was trying to go to the freezer for some ice cream but this isn't the freezer.

Well, that's a long way down, isn't it. *he's cute-- exuberant small-child cute but cute nonetheless* I bet there is some ice cream if you want some.

Doesn't matter where it as long as I don't get in trouble between here and there. That's what Al says, anyway. *and yes, now he bounces on the balls of his feet* Think there might be chocolate ice cream? My favourite's chocolate chocolate-chip.

If you stay out of it, that's pretty much down to luck or talent. And hey, it must be talent. *blinks a little at the enthusiasm* Chocolate, probably. We could probably find marshmallows, or nuts. Or cherries.

Well, I gotta be good at something when I'm little. *nods punctuate the point -- and yeah, he's enthusiastic about anything edible but especially sugar* We can make sundaes! You like ice cream sundaes?

*amusion* And that's a good thing to be good at. Some people don't learn that until way too late. *shakes his head a little* Sure. You can make a sundae, if you want. I'll help.

*well, that's all the encouragement he needs* Cool! Where's the kitchen? This place looks big and big places have to have kitchens, right? I mean, people gotta eat and if you gotta eat, you gotta keep food somewhere.

It's back there. *points; is it obvious I have no idea where the place is?* Yeah, it's big and a lot of people are here. I don't know how many people eat here, but there'll probably be some ice cream stuff.

*cheerfully heads off in the direction of the kitchen, then* I might have some ice cream stuff. I don't remember. But I don't have any ice cream because it always melts.

*and heads off with him* Yeah, that's what ice cream does. That's what ice does, in fact. Unless you're really down at the bottom, sometimes.

*pouts a little* Al can pull ice cream straight out of the freezer from anywhere. I wanna learn to do that but every time I try it doesn't work right.

Yeah, just like that! *and here comes a great big smile* Al's my big sister! She's the best sister ever anywhere and she's a really, really, really good cook, too, like Dad.

I'll bet she is. *hands him the spoon, and-- yeah, they're probably in the kitchen now* See anything you like?

*takes the spoon and still has that bouncy step going as he heads straight for the freezer and--* Ice cream! You were right. *points to some chocolate* Can you get that for me? Now I need a bowl. And sundae stuff. *closes one eye, scrunching his face up a little with his tongue poking out, then proceeds to pull chocolate sauce, nuts, marshmallows and jimmies out of the air* Aw, phoo. I don't have any whipped cream or cherries.
